Three years of experience or training as a mechanic.
Job Duties:
Receives repair requests from numerous DPS and Troop personnel along with multiple state agencies performs diagnostic tests using various detection systems to localize and trace malfunctions.
Uses mechanical and computerized testing software electronic scanners engine analyzers exhaust analyzers etc. and fleet management programs. Disassembles re-diagnoses overhauls rebuilds and/or repairs all mobile equipments components and subcomponents.Position-Specific Details:
