Role summary
The Year 4 Teacher will take responsibility for delivering an ambitious Year 4 curriculum embedding reasoning in mathematics and developing reading fluency. The Year 4 Teacher will join phase meetings lead targeted interventions and co-design cross-curricular projects. The Year 4 Teacher appointed will be expected to start teaching in January 2026 and be fully engaged with school life from January 2026 onward.
Responsibilities & impact
Plan teach and assess the Year 4 curriculum as the Year 4 Teacher ensuring progress for all.
The Year 4 Teacher will employ formative assessment strategies and run small group interventions.
As Year 4 Teacher you will contribute to curriculum development and model excellent classroom practice.
Liaise with parents support transitions and lead enrichment activities for Year 4.
Candidate profile
QTS and recent KS2 experience specifically as a Year 4 Teacher.
A Year 4 Teacher who is reflective collaborative and committed to progress.
Strong organisational skills and a creative approach to pedagogy.
This is a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role; the Full-Time contract commences January 2026. Induction and mentoring will be provided from January 2026 to ensure the Year 4 Teacher can have immediate and sustained impact.
