Job Summary
Description
This is an Evening Shift position.
Must have previous supervisory experience and EVS background.
Summary:
Maintains and improves a safe cost effective cleaning and transportation will have oversight of Patient Transport and Environmental Servicesdepartment on assigned shift.
Responsibilities:
a safe and clean environment for patients visitors and staff by managing the Transport andEnvironmental Services Departments.
technical support and training to EVS and Transport zone leaders EVS and Transport employees.
and coordinates transport cleaning trash removal & preventative maintenance procedures for allpatient care areas and utility support systems. Assigns work to personnel and monitors for accuracy andensures completion of tasks by inspection work and processes.
administrative tasks pertaining to daily and overall operations. Orients trains schedules counsels & evaluates employees. Responds to patient and customer requests and complaints pertaining to Transport andEVS.
professional skills attends continuing education sessions and attains personal qualification standardsto ensure the technical competency & team work required to provide quality service. Fulfills all complianceresponsibilities related to the position.
an empowered knowledgeable customer oriented staff which functions 24 hours/day - 7 days/week.
outside services as needed by priority in a cost effective manner.

Education: HS GRAD/EQUIVALENT
Other Information:
This position requires a minimum formal education of High School Diploma and minimum of three years job-related experience.
Supervisor experience including financial estimating computer and scheduling skills. 3 year supervisoryexperience in housekeeping at a Hospital or Hotel with a successful customer service and leadership track with JCAHO State Local DEP and OSHA regulations.
