Quarter is looking for a Graphic Designer & Marketing Assistant to join our collaborative in-house marketing team within our restaurants division. This is a varied and creative role perfect for someone with a strong design eye who is excited to see their work come to life across menus signage campaigns and events.
You will be working across the following brands in this role: The Square Racks Bar & Kitchen No.4 Clifton Village and Pizza on the Park.
You will design everything from restaurant menus and A-boards to eye-catching campaign assets while also supporting wider marketing initiatives across our four venues. Youll have the opportunity to contribute ideas to our team-led campaigns assist with social media content and gradually take ownership of customer email campaigns to help drive engagement and bookings.
This role also has scope to support ad-hoc design work for HowTheLightGetsIn Festivala fantastic opportunity to flex your creativity in a dynamic and high-profile setting.
Key details:
- Location: Based in our four restaurants in Clifton Bristol - hot desking from each on one day a week with one day a week worked from home (hybrid).
- Hours: 40 per week Monday- Friday 9am - 5pm (with some flexibility if needed)
- Package:27900 per annum including a bonus of 2720 based on performance
- Start date: We can accommodate asap or after notice!
- Team: Youll be working within a dedicated team of three - reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Key Responsibilities as Graphic Design & Marketing Assistant
Graphic Design
- Design and update restaurant menus across all four venues.
- Produce in-house marketing materials such as signage A-boards table talkers and promotional posters.
- Support the Marketing Manager and Social Media Executive with creating digital and print assets for seasonal campaigns ad campaigns and events.
- Support with festival-related design projects for HowTheLightGetsIn.
Marketing Support
- Work closely with the marketing team to help develop and deliver creative campaigns that are consistent across print and digital formats.
- Support the management and growth of email marketing (mailouts) ensuring engaging content and strong design.
- Help track campaign performance and provide input on improvements.
Team Collaboration
- Actively contribute ideas during campaign planning sessions.
- Liaise with restaurant and events managers to understand design and marketing needs.

- A creative and motivated designer with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign Photoshop Illustrator).
- A love of the Bristol food and events scene aware of the latest trends in both hospitality and design
- Confident communicator able to collaborate within a team and across departments.
- An interest in marketing with willingness to learn about email marketing.
- Organised and adaptable able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
