About the Opportunity
We are representing an Albany-based General Contractor with a strong track record of growth doubling revenue over the past few years with projections to nearly double again next year. This firm has a solid pipeline of work ahead and is seeking a Superintendent to join their team for a significant historic renovation new construction project in Hudson NY.
This is a career advancement opportunity for someone motivated and proactive who wants to take ownership of a high-profile project and grow with a company that continues to expand its presence in the region. This ideal candidate could be an Assistant Superintendent Superintendent or Foreman with GC exposure.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day site operations on a historic renovation and new construction project (hotel restaurant).
Coordinate subcontractors suppliers and inspectors.
Hold proactive daily huddles with trades to align work and solve issues.
Review drawings maintain site documentation and ensure compliance.
Identify and resolve field problems before they escalate.
Partner closely with Project Manager and ownership for support.
Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA standards.
Qualifications
25 years of relevant construction supervision experience (Assistant Super Superintendent or Foreman with GC exposure).
Commercial construction background; renovation experience a plus but not required.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
Hands-on leadership style and proactive problem-solving mindset.
Local/regional candidates strongly preferred though relocation considered.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $85K$95K target range (max $100K)
