Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Description:
We are hiring for our client who are seeking to appoint a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified engineer with both mechanical and electrical maintenance experience to play a key role in keeping production operations running smoothly. The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for fault-finding repair and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced industrial environment.

The Role:
Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs on industrial plant and equipment
Diagnose and resolve breakdown issues quickly to reduce downtime
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve equipment reliability
Support continuous improvement initiatives and site projects
Work as part of a skilled engineering team to maintain high operational standards
The Person:
Engineering qualification ideally a time-served engineering apprenticeship
Previous experience in an industrial or factory environment
Strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical maintenance
Proven ability to fault-find problem solve and work under pressure
Flexible proactive and able to work well within a team
