About the role

With a strong pipeline of work our Melbourne Property &Developments team have a brand new full-time role available for aLawyer with at least 2 years PAE. The team act for some ofAustralias most well-known brands making this an excellentopportunity for a Lawyer looking to build on their skillset withcomplex and interesting deals. You will have direct access toPartners and senior Lawyers and the benefit of strong secretarialsupport. Some of your day-to-day tasks and responsibilities willinclude:

• Managing conveyancing and property settlements across Victoria through the PEXA platform
• Preparing negotiating and reviewing commercial leases agreements for lease licences and related documents
• Drafting and reviewing contracts of sale and related documents (including caveats and s27 statements) for residential and commercial properties
• Lodging plans through the SPEAR platform
• Conducting legal research and advising on a broad range of property related matters
• Assisting with financial settlements across Victoria
• Assisting with due diligence for property and commercial transactions

About you

To be successful in this role you will be an admitted Lawyerwith at least 2 years post-admission experience in propertylaw. Our clients are at the centre of everything we do so yourcommitment to providing exceptional client service will be of greatimportance. To compliment your strong legal skills you will besomeone who has excellent verbal and written communication skillsa commercial mindset and works well both in a team andautonomously. You will be someone who enjoys problem solvingdemonstrates sound judgement and has strong file management andorganisational skills.
