Job Summary

St. Francis of Assisi Fulton is seeking candidates for a part-time Sacristan. The Sacristan is responsible for preparing the church and sanctuary for the celebration of Mass with particular care for all sacred vessels (including the ciboria chalice paten and cruets). This position is for the weekend Masses & liturgical celebrations.

Essential Functions

Setting and arranging the credence table and gift table
Verifying the placement of liturgical books.
Checking and lighting altar and seasonal candles.
Assisting with the care and cleaning of sacred vessels following Mass.
Assisting with tidying the church and sanctuary after each liturgy.

Position Qualifications

Practicing Catholic in good standing with The Church.
Strong attention to detail reliability discretion and a reverent spirit of service are essential.
They must collaborate with clergy Mass Coordinator and altar servers.

Range: $15.00 Hourly
