Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Geography Teacher to join a well-established independent school in Northamptonshire. This is a full-time position to begin in January teaching across KS3KS5 (GCSE and A-Level Geography).

The successful Geography Teacher will be joining a thriving Humanities faculty where fieldwork environmental studies and global issues are central to the curriculum. Geography is a popular subject at both GCSE and A-Level with results consistently above national 2023 78% of GCSE pupils achieved grades 79 while 84% of A-Level candidates secured grades A*B. The department benefits from dedicated classrooms digital resources and an ethos of collaboration and innovation.

Experience and Qualifications
Qualified Geography Teacher (QTS PGCE or equivalent considered)
Strong subject knowledge at GCSE and A-Level Geography
Ability to inspire pupils with a passion for global affairs sustainability and fieldwork
Enthusiastic well-organised and committed to excellent teaching and learning
Legal right to work within the UK
