Job Summary
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an English Teacher to join a highly respected independent girls school in Birmingham. This is a full-time role beginning in January teaching across KS3KS5 (GCSE and A-Level English Literature and Language). The successful candidate will be joining a forward-thinking English department with a strong tradition of academic excellence.

English is one of the schools flagship subjects. Results are consistently impressive: in 2023 85% of pupils achieved grades 79 at GCSE English and 88% of A-Level students achieved grades A*B. Requirements
Qualified English Teacher with QTS (PGCE QTLS or equivalent considered)
Strong subject knowledge across GCSE and A-Level Literature and Language
Ability to inspire challenge and support high-achieving pupils
Organised enthusiastic and committed to excellent teaching and learning
Legal right to work in the UK
