Are you an inspiring Music Teacher looking to share your passion for performance and creativity A thriving secondary school in Taunton is seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to join its faculty from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent position offering the opportunity to teach Music across the key stages and contribute to a vibrant extra-curricular programme.
The Role
Full-time Music Teacher role starting January 2026
Deliver engaging Music lessons at KS3KS4 with potential to teach at KS5
Take a leading role in concerts ensembles choirs and school productions
Work closely with a collaborative department that is well-resourced with modern practice rooms and performance spaces

This well-respected Taunton school educates approximately 1100 students including a strong Sixth Form provision. Music plays an important role within the schools culture with frequent performances concerts and enrichment activities. The school boasts excellent facilities including a recording studio rehearsal suites and a purpose-built performance hall. What Were Looking For
QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) in Music
Ability to teach across the secondary age range with strong classroom management skills
