Applicant Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in metal fabrication with a proven track record of working with various metals and welding techniques.
- Required to present evidence of qualifications such as a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent. ( Only if you are from these countries: Brazil China Fiji Hong Kong India Macau Philippines South Africa Thailand Vietnam Zimbabwe)
- Applicants must provide documentation including references from previous employment pay slips a valid passport and police clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication: Utilise your expertise in metalworking to fabricate structural steel components according to blueprints drawings and project specifications
- Welding: Demonstrate proficiency in welding techniques to create strong and secure connections between steel components ensuring structural integrity
- Assembly: Assemble fabricated steel components with precision ensuring proper alignment and fit to meet project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough quality checks throughout the fabrication process to uphold standards of durability strength and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers engineers and fellow team members to coordinate fabrication activities and ensure project timelines are met.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address any challenges or issues that arise during the fabrication process implementing effective solutions to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in metal fabrication evidenced by at least 5 years in the field.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with a range of metals.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills capable of effectively collaborating with team members and management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
