Glartek a VC-backed company founded in 2017 is a global leader of Augmented and Connected Worker solutions for the Manufacturing and Asset-intensive industries and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of shop floor procedures performed by humanas related to operations safety quality production and training. Our innovative software combines the Augmented Reality (AR) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things (IoT) domains to bring visibility optimization and reassurance of field operations. Glartek has offices in Lisbon and Leiria Portugal. The company has large customers such as EDP and Daimler.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the companys growth reporting directly to the CTO.
This intense and demanding role will require you to be involved in all development activities from concept to completion. You will be a versatile high-energy and problem-solving outstanding contributor. You will be involved in a fast-paced day-to-day cloud and agile development environment with like-minded outstanding colleagues. With your experience and technical knowledge you will naturally own the technical challenges and solutions and lead the team and the development activities.

Tasks
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle alongside teammates.
- Work across the entire system architecture.
- Work in close collaboration with product team.
- Transforming design ideas into functional features.
- Responsible for planning implementing full-stack features (frontend and backend).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines unit testing and performance monitoring tools.
- Identifying and fixing code errors and performance.
- Perform code review with and for your team mates.
- Testing new functionalities and UI/UX dynamics.
- Create internal and customer facing documentation.
- Ensuring products conform to high industry standards.
- Ensure products conform to high industry standards.
- Guide junior and other mid-level software engineers engineers.
- Stay current on the best fullstack pratices and ecosystem trends.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or a similar field.
- Experience with and/or Go Lang.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Programming proficiency for Angular or applications is a plus.
- Knowledge of GraphQL TypeScript and AWS services is a plus.
- Familiarity with Git/GitLab and CI/CD tools.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and tools.
- Comfortable working under pressure and frequent priority changes.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Passion for improving how stuff is done getting things better and helping others.
