Job Summary
OmniBazaar is a decentralized network of e-commerce marketplaces designed to eliminate middlemen and reduce transaction fees via blockchain technology. We are building an advanced marketplace software template that will allow tens or hundreds of thousands of individuals and small businesses to open localized and specialized marketplaces around the world. With the integrated OmniCoin cryptocurrency OmniBazaar offers secure transactions reputation tracking distributed escrow and incentives for participation. Our vision is to expand access to global commerce especially for the 1.5 billion unbanked and underbanked people worldwide. We have a working MVP two patents have scaled to 10000 registered users. Development roadmap includes Web3 support a decentralized crypto exchange (DEX) P2P crypto trading liquidity pools support for NFT sales stablecoin support and mobile applications.
We are seeking a technical co-founder to move the project to the next level.
Our first priority is migrating OmniCoin to a new smart blockchain in preparation for relaunching the distributed marketplace as a web3 app.
We are looking for a working co-founder who can and will roll up his or her sleeves and create the necessary code. Until we have money to hire a team for you to lead it will be up to you to produce the technical products.
IMPORTANT: We are still in bootstrap mode. We will need to raise investor money or become profitable before we can pay anyone a salary. It might take some time and work before we have money. For OmniBazaar to be a viable opportunity for you you will need to be both willing and able to support yourself financially while we build the company to the point where we can get a development grant or acquire investor funding. You will earn 5% ownership of the company and an allocation of our OmniCoin tokens.
Is working at a startup for equity a gamble Sure it is. But we believe the rewards will be worth the risks.
The key question will be whether you understand and believe in what we are doing.

Tasks
The next steps for OmniBazaar/Omnicoin are as follows:
- Migrate OmniCoin to a smart contract platform (such as POL SOL COTI AVAX etc).
- Add Web3 wallet and NFT listing capabilities (ERC-721 and ERC-1155).
- Implement transaction privacy and account abstraction.
- Write smart contracts to replace current marketplace functionalities.
- Add distributed cryptocurrency exchange (DEX) and P2P crypto trading.
- Implement cross-chain bridging staking and liquidity pools.
- Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) of OmniCoins and/or Angel VC funding round.
- Develop Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Devise and implement an effective marketing campaign to drive user engagement.
- Relaunch OmniBazaar marketplace and OmniCoin cryptocurrency.
- Increase user base from 10000 to >(and beyond).
- Other enhancements that you and the management team initiate.
Requirements
Self-motivated leader who is willing and able to help bootstrap a startup company.
Documented experience in Project Management UI/UX development and Quality Control.
REQUIRED: Expert knowledge of Solidity blockchain smart contracts Web3 HardHat OpenZeppelin NodeJS React JavaScript.
DESIRED: Experience with Couchbase or other distributed database DEXs web3 wallets crypto privacy protocols (ZKPs) account abstraction cross-chain bridging Aragon DAO platform.
Familiarity with IPFS distributed computing ERC-721 and ERC-1155 cryptocurrency design tokenomics.
