Summary
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. This position requires a strong focus on leadership and quality ensuring that our production lines run efficiently and that our products meet the highest standards.
Responsibilities
-Regular safety training sessions and drills keep the team informed and prepared.
-Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
-Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations standards and company policies related to quality.
-Analyze production processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
-Ensure the efficient use of materials labor and equipment to maximize productivity & minimize waste.
-Develop & manage production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
-Implement & promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency.
-Oversee the quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed company and industry standards.
-Identify and resolve abnormal conditions promptly implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
-Investigate and report any safety incidents implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
-Lead mentor and develop a team of production workers fostering a positive and productive work environment.
-Prepare and maintain accurate production reports track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for management.
-Monitor and evaluate employee performance provide constructive feedback and implement improvement plans when necessary.
-Conduct training sessions for new employees and provide ongoing training for existing staff to ensure skill development and adherence to best practices.
Requirements
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a high-volume cabinetry manufacturing environment.
-A combination of education and substantial professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
-Bachelors degree in manufacturing engineering or a related field is preferred.
-Proficient in quality control and continuous improvement methodologies.
-Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
-Strong leadership and team management skills.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
