Job Title: Trademark Paralegal

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file trademark prosecution documents (applications declarations of use specimens) with the USPTO and international agencies.
- Conduct trademark searches using USPTO and other databases to support clearance and investigations.
- Manage retrieve and review trademark dockets to maintain accuracy and track deadlines.
- Draft and prepare concise legal communications including cease & desist letters and correspondence with outside counsel.
- Coordinate documentation and assist with fact finding for trademark disputes.
- Respond to requests from internal and external parties and support global trademark portfolio submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams outside counsel and senior management to ensure timely and effective trademark support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in trademark prosecution including preparation and submission to the USPTO.
- Strong ability to draft clear concise communications (e.g. cease & desist letters attorney correspondence).
- Skilled in conducting database searches (USPTO and major trademark platforms).
- Ability to retrieve review and analyze trademark dockets.
- Experience preparing declarations of use and gathering specimens for filings.
- Excellent attention to detail organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel database management and legal software tools.
Preferred Qualities
- Prior pharmaceutical or life sciences industry experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
