Job Description

Role: Senior Analyst - Material Directorate (Lifecycle/Integration)

POP: 12 months

Location: National Capital Region; On-site (Pentagon in DC)

JOB SCOPE:

The Senior Analyst provides expertise in equipment lifecycle management and integration of materiel solutions across the Army enterprise. This position focuses on coordinating fielding plans managing equipment distribution and redistribution and ensuring lifecycle supportability of assigned systems from acquisition through divestment.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Secret Clearance required (TS Clearance may be required for certain portfolios)
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
  • Experience at senior levels of the Army such as HQDA MACOMs or Army Service Component Commands
  • Knowledge of Army Supply Chain Management and logistics systems
  • Understanding of equipment fielding processes and unit distribution planning
  • Experience with AE2S-M LIW/WEBLIDB ECOP and FMSWeb databases
  • Strong analytical skills for equipment readiness and distribution analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple Army organizations (ASC AMC ACOMs)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Masters degree may substitute for one year of force development experience; PhD may substitute for two years
  • Experience with Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Lead Materiel Integrator (LMI) operations
  • Knowledge of BOIP development and equipment authorization processes
  • Experience with equipment reset redistribution and divestment programs
  • Understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) processes
  • Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Level-C certification

TASKS:

  • Allocate PM-identified monthly production and depot delivery quantities in support of unit level distribution and redistribution planning by ASC LMI
  • Update allocation plans during monthly AE2S updates
  • Coordinate with ASC LMI material integrators to ensure distribution and redistribution plans are adjusted based on Army Senior Leader guidance
  • Monitor equipment fielding execution and resolve distribution issues
  • Analyze equipment on-hand data and identify shortfalls or excesses
  • Support development of equipment fielding plans aligned with training and operational schedules
  • Coordinate equipment transfers between units commands and components
  • Track equipment through the complete lifecycle from acquisition to divestment
  • Support Foreign Military Sales coordination for equipment transfers to partner nations
  • Analyze sustainment requirements and coordinate with G-4 and AMC
  • Maintain equipment databases ensuring accuracy of fielding status and on-hand quantities
  • Prepare briefings on equipment distribution status and readiness impacts
  • Support Army Equipping and Modernization Conference coordination
  • Coordinate with Program Managers on delivery schedules and production quantities
  • Assess impacts of accelerated or delayed fielding on force readiness
  • Support development of equipment modernization and distribution strategies
  • Track cascade and redistribution actions to maximize equipment utilization
  • Coordinate equipment payback plans for Reserve Component training use
  • All other duties as assigned by management
