Job Summary
Position: Registered Nurse Operating Room
Length: 26 weeks
Shift: Rotating (3x12)
Guaranteed Hours: 32 per week
Start Date: 11/10/2025
The Operating Room RN is responsible for providing compassionate individualized nursing care for patients and their families. This role collaborates with providers staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality patient outcomes while promoting patient satisfaction and wellness.
Key Responsibilities-
Oversee daily patient flow to optimize care safety and satisfaction.

Triage incoming patient service requests and provide patient education.

Administer medications perform treatments and assist with procedures while adhering to safety guidelines.

Coordinate care with physicians practices and hospital partners.

Demonstrate strong assessment prioritization and critical thinking skills.

Manage high call volumes for patient requests and delegate care appropriately per Colorado statute.

Utilize Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient needs and effective communication.

Role model Just Culture principles and organizational values.

Ensure HIPAA compliance and perform additional duties as assigned.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room experience required.
Licenses & Certifications:

Current Colorado RN license (or valid compact state license).

Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Technical Skills:

Computer literacy required; ability to complete online learning forms and policies.

Must demonstrate proficiency in English (reading writing speaking).
