Job Summary

Role Overview

Responsible for supervising semi to highly skilled production and/or maintenance employees to achieve departmental goals in safety quality delivery and cost. Serves as the first-line liaison between shop floor employees and management ensuring alignment of workforce performance with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise hourly production/maintenance staff ensuring safety quality and delivery standards are met.
Coordinate schedules assign tasks and manage overtime/vacancies based on production requirements.
Monitor control plans troubleshoot workmanship problems and enforce quality requirements.
Administer and enforce company policies practices and work rules.
Provide training tools and work instructions to ensure job success.
Maintain equipment/facilities to maximize uptime and asset utilization.
Track department budgets and implement corrective actions as needed.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Spend at least 50% of the workday on the shop floor engaging directly with employees.
Promote and enforce safety programs and housekeeping standards.

Required Qualifications

1 years of production/manufacturing supervisory experience.
Associate degree (technical field) or equivalent hands-on experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to lead hourly employees.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required).
Experience with work planning estimating and technical troubleshooting (mechanical/electrical/tool & die).
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Eligible for in-person interview and legally authorized to work without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP.
Background in maintenance supervision in a factory environment.

Additional Information

Must be comfortable operating a Company-owned Gator on the shop floor (training provided).
Role is 100% onsite and requires hands-on leadership presence.
