A Brief Overview
The Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst is responsible for providing business and financial guidance to TriNets management team through various planning and analysis activities. This role provides budgets forecasts and financial reports & analyses for assigned department(s) and/or member(s) of the management team. This role also assists in analyzing strategic endeavors new business opportunities customer profitability long-term forecasting new product ROI and other ad hoc projects as required. This is an individual contributor role.

What you will do

  • Act as liaison and provide financial support to assigned departments or members of the leadership team
  • Prepare annual targets and develop updated forecasts based upon ongoing business performance and predictive financial models
  • Report on actual financial results against targets provide analysis of forecast variances and assist in guidance on future trends
  • Influence strong cross-functional communications and enhance efficiencies by leading teams through operational improvement efforts
  • Actively support ongoing improvement of TriNets financial planning and business intelligence systems
  • Analyze cost trends including developing new relevant key performance indicators.
  • Assist with preparation of Quarterly Business Review materials covering KPIs service costs and quarterly projections vs Plan and forecast.
  • Develop expertise in navigating within and improving Tableau and Anaplan applications
  • Support new products and initiatives with business case development.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis projects and report preparation as identified by management team
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Or equivalent work experience required

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 5 years in financial planning and analysis required
  • Experience in a Public Company preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of PEO business CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value) and CTS (Cost to Serve) concepts and metrics preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Anaplan and Tableau experience preferred but not required
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively highly driven and self-motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity
  • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

Licenses and Certifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta GA and the salary range for this location is $69200.00 to $138500.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the companys discretion. The candidates final salary offer will be based on the candidates skills education work location and experience.

A candidates compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNets corporate bonus plan.
