Designation:-Design Engineer
Experience -3-5 yrs
Location- WhitefieldBangalore
Roles and Responsibility:-
Sheetmetal parts and weldment assembly independently. Custom design of refrigerated rack system involving rack structure component assembly piping control panel Sheetmetal and detailed drawings based on sales orders for refrigeration systems in Generate Submittal and Manufacturing drawings of refrigeration system products as per ANSI ASTM standards
2: Follow the Product Engineering process. Re-design old products to improve manufacturing and decrease cost. Develop and maintain design FMEA and process FMEA to reduce product launch issues. Prove and test design by fabricating prototypes. Perform tolerance stack-up structural design calculation and FEA study to validate the design
3: ECN preparation submissions and Maintain documentation. Writing or presenting reports for project managers and clients. Document and communicate well at each step. Interface with customers internally and externally on technical details and project goals. Be the owner of assigned project/task.
4: Resolve product or manufacturing problems on major product lines individually or as part of a group as job duties require. Hands-on work on shop floor as job requires. 5: Perform Tolerance stack up Analysis on Door and Frame assemblies. Drive/participate in DFMEA DFMA and Design reviews.
Must Have Skills:-
in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Ability to read and interpret the Engineering drawings and convert 2D to 3D and vice verse swiftly.
2 Ability to design part/sub-system of refrigeration systems involving rack systems refrigeration components piping etc. Experience in ECN/ECR Process and documentation.
knowledge of Refrigeration System design Structural design component selection Piping. DFMEA FEA GD&T and Tolerance stack up.
4. Ability to effectively problem-solve using tools and techniques like A3 root cause analysis
5-whys). Should have Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong team player and independent contributor. Six sigma and CSWP certifications would be an added advantage.
