Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for several business unit strategic initiatives and key projects. This position will work closely with internal stakeholders to align objectives requirements and schedule actions as needed based on the scope of the project. The position will also be the focal point to work on cross functional initiatives with internal teams to drive corporate strategic initiatives execute on research and development for key projects and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and teams to successfully execute on the organizations goals and objectives. The position exercises discretion and maintains confidentiality in the execution of duties and responsibilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the queue of projects.
Facilitate meetings with internal and/or external clients to clarify specific requirements of project requests and prioritize deliverables.
Track project progress and communicate detailed status reports to all stakeholders frequently.
Provide detailed documentation of business requirements that allow the end business user(s) to confidently sign-off on a project prior to the start of development.
Escalate issues to leadership in a timely manner.
Responsible for maintenance of issue logs meeting notes and other activities as needed.
Adhere to Genfinitys standard set of practices and policies to ensure the integrity and quality of deliverables.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years of experience in project management or related leadership level experience preferred
Hands on Operational experience is preferred
College degree Healthcare Allied graduate is a plus
Experience with US Healthcare Industry is preferred
Proficiency in utilizing tools such as: any project tracking software Excel PowerPoint Word Visio
Excellent communication skills interpersonal skills ethics and cultural awareness
Advanced time management and analytical skills
Personable and able to deal with all levels within an organization and collaborate with a variety of people
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to effectively motivate colleagues to work together efficiently
Resourceful and with a problem-solving aptitude
- Strong decision-making skills
