The Discipline Team Lead Electrical Engineering (Ports) based in Halifax Canada is responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and designers in delivering technical excellence on port and maritime infrastructure projects. This role combines technical oversight team leadership project management and client engagement to ensure successful project outcomes in alignment with client requirements safety standards and Arcadis commitment to sustainability and digital innovation. The Team Lead is a key liaison between the electrical discipline and multidisciplinary project teams supporting both day-to-day delivery and the long-term growth of the Ports practice.

Role Responsibilities
In this role you will oversee the design specification and integration of electrical systems for ports and maritime facilities including power distribution lighting communications and controls. You will manage project resources schedules and budgets for the electrical discipline ensuring quality and technical excellence in all deliverables. Collaboration is central as you will coordinate with civil structural mechanical and environmental teams to deliver integrated solutions. The Team Lead is also responsible for mentoring and developing junior and intermediate engineers allocating tasks and providing technical guidance to foster a high-performing collaborative environment. Client engagement is a key aspect involving regular communication with clients stakeholders and authorities as well as supporting proposal development and technical presentations. You will champion the adoption of innovative digital and sustainable approaches in all aspects of project delivery.
