Job Description
Purpose of the role
Were looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of our technology products.
Key priorities
- Develop and maintain test plans cases and scripts (manual & automated).
- Perform functional regression integration performance and exploratory testing.
- Identify track and report software defects and quality metrics.
- Collaborate with developers product owners and stakeholders to ensure testability and quality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and optimise coverage.
- Use tools like Selenium Playwright and other frameworks consistently.
- Analyse results and provide clear test reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices and standards.
- Support risk management compliance and workplace safety practices.
About you
Experience & Knowledge:
- ISTQB or other QA certification (preferred).
- 3 years experience as a QA Engineer with manual and automated testing.
- Knowledge of testing technologies patterns and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines DevOps and release management.
- Skills C# SQL Visual Studio and Postman (desirable).
- Strong problem-solving communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering great user experiences.
- Proactive adaptable and effective in a small fast-paced team.
- Passion for continuous improvement and learning.
Ways of working
Youi offers a hybrid model: in-office Tuesday to Thursday remote Mondays and Fridays.
Sippy Downs & Fortitude Valley:
This role can be based at either our Headquarters in Sippy Downs or our Fortitude Valley office.

Fortitude Valley: Prime location on James St & Ann St a short walk to the train station with excellent public transport and proximity to Brisbanes best restaurants bars and shops.
