Essential Functions:
- Communicate with the host staff to update the floor chart continuously throughout the shift.
- Collects menus and returns them to the Host Area.
- Perform a perimeter sweep at beginning & end of shift.
- Observes tables and keeps track of clean dirty and occupied tables.
- Throughout the shift always ensure that every area is both clean and maintained both inside and out.
- Assists the Servers by refilling waters beverages & providing bread service during dinner hours.
- Assists in bussing and resetting tables.
- Informs Management immediately of Guests who are dissatisfied.
- Maintains professional composed and calm demeanor at all times.
- Completes all side-work as directed.
- Assists in an entire team effort.
- All other duties as assigned.
Special Skills or knowledge necessary for this position:
- Full-Service Restaurant Kitchen Experience is desired.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to be organized in a changing environment.
- Ability to maintain a calm professional demeanor during periods of uncertainty or crisis.
Daily physical requirements and/or number of pounds that may need to be lifted on the job:
- Stands during entire shift.
- Reaches bends stoops lifts shakes pours carries and pushes.
- Lifts and carries tubs trays and cases weighing up to 25 lbs. up to 20 times per shift.
- Frequent exposure to high temperatures humidity and cold.
