Job Description
The Corewell Health Imaging Team supports our mission of improved health instilling humanity and inspiring hope. Our team uses cutting-edge technology such as X-rays CT scans MRI Mammography Ultrasound Interventional and Nuclear Medicine to contribute to accurate diagnoses and patient care. Imaging continues to be an integral part of the healthcare continuum touching millions of lives each day each week each month each year.

This facility is home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center a leading-edge hybrid surgical unit that offers advanced technologies to perform a wide variety of procedures. It is also home to the Cotton Family Birth Center.
Scope of Work
Plans organizes evaluates controls and manages all functions of one or more of the Imaging Departments. Modalities included but not limited to: Computerized Tomography (CT) Nuclear Medicine (NM) Interventional Radiology (IR) Diagnostic Radiology (DX) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Mammography (Mammo) Ultrasound (US) Positron Emission Tomography (PET/CT) and Support Staff. Coordinates and implements Imaging programs policies and procedures and assumes the responsibility for ensuring that all programs meet hospital accreditation standards and regulatory compliance. Manages the delivery of patient care ensuring that patient care is provided according to established standards of care and practice. Accountable for enabling patient physician and employee satisfaction. Assumes accountability for managing the operational financial effectiveness and efficiency of the Radiology Department. Ability to lead employees on exceptional customer service skills.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent in business management or other related area Required.
- Bachelors degree in business management health care administration or other related area Preferred.
- 5 years of relevant experience in diagnostic radiology Required.
- 3 years of relevant experience in leadership Required.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS)
In addition one of the following certifications is Required:
- ARRT Radiographer (R) or
- NMTCB or ARRT Nuclear Med Technologist (N) or
- ARDMS or ARRT Sonographer (S) or
- ARRT Mammography (M) or
- AART Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI)
