Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Non-Medical In-Home Caregivers to provide essential support to clients in their homes. This position involves assisting individuals with daily living activities companionship light housekeeping and ensuring a safe comfortable environment. No medical certifications are required but a caring attitude and commitment to client well-being are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as grooming dressing bathing and toileting as needed.
Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation or loneliness.
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry dishwashing and maintaining a tidy environment.
Assist with mobility transfers and walking including the use of assistive devices as necessary.
Remind clients to take medications (no medication administration).
Accompany clients to appointments errands or social outings if required.
Monitor and report changes in client behavior mood or physical condition to family members or supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous caregiving experience (paid or unpaid) is highly desirable.
Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license (if transporting clients).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Patience empathy and a genuine desire to help others.
Ability to follow care plans and maintain confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in the clients home.
Flexible hours; may include evenings weekends or holidays depending on client needs.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs stand for extended periods and assist with mobility.
