The dedicated team consisting of physicians and nurse practitioners offers a variety of services including primary medical care gynecology and womens health immunizations physical examinations preventive medicine and treatment for acute and chronic conditions. Additionally the facility features an on-site pharmacy and the Swank Center for Memory Care enhancing their comprehensive healthcare offerings.

Work Schedule:
Duties / Responsibilities:
As a Medical Assistant I you will beinvolved with greeting and supporting patients both virtually and on-site within the practice preparing them for virtual visits performing point of care testing injections medication administration and EKGs assisting clinicians with examinations and procedures preparing exam/treatment rooms with necessary supplies and equipment completing patient-specific paperwork ensuring EMR is up-to-date handling patient call backs sterilizing medical equipment handling prior authorizations referrals and medical refills scheduling tests procedures and surgeries performing quality control on POCT equipment providing documentation assistance performing clerical duties troubleshooting patient issues with video visits and supporting patients in joining ChristianaCares Patient Portal.

Education Requirements:
High School Graduate or GED required.
A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
