About the Role

My client is looking for a Data Engineer to help design build and maintain reliable data pipelines and platforms. This role is key to making sure data is collected processed and delivered efficiently to support analytics reporting and business decision-making. It combines hands-on technical work with problem solving and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
Build and optimise databases data models and storage solutions.
Ensure data quality consistency and reliability across systems.
Work with analysts engineers and business teams to deliver data solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with data flows.
Document processes and maintain system knowledge for the team.

Skills & Experience

Strong SQL skills for data querying and optimisation.
Experience with at least one programming language (Python Java or Scala).
Familiarity with data warehousing and cloud environments.
Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and tools.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
