Bobs Steak & Chop House

Since the opening of the first Bobs Steak & Chop House in Dallas Texas in 1993 the name Bobs has been synonymous with a great steakhouse experience. Building on the reputation we earned at our original Dallas location Bobs has opened restaurants nationwide that offer the best cuts of meat available. Bobs Steak & Chop House specializes in serving big flavorful steaks that are hand-selected from the top two percent of USDA prime beef along with Texas-sized portions of our award-winning sides. Mouth-watering legendary seafood and cuts of meat are delicious as we use homemade and local ingredients to enhance the flavor of our signature menu items. When it comes to Wine each Bobs carries a large selection usually 300 to 500 wines beyond our core list of -house wine buyers select wines from all over the world to satisfy local clientele and regulars at each of our locations. Each Bobs utilizes climate-controlled wine cellars and features Wine of the Month for our guests to try.

Ensure guests are welcomed to the restaurant from the time they walk through the door until the time they depart. Greet guests in a friendly polite manner be prompt and reliable and help your co-workers whenever possible.

• To follow enforce comply and adhere to all Bobs Steak & Chop House rules policies procedures standards and recipes at all times.
• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.

• Answer phone and record reservations as requested using good judgement and precise timing.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability service safety and wellbeing of guests.
• Seat guests by finding a clean available table pulling out chairs and placing clean menu in front of guest .

• Assist managers in opening and closing of the restaurant.

• Attend to and anticipate guests needs.
• Control heavy volume at restaurant entrance.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Familiarization with menu and knowledge of daily specials.
• Thank every guest upon departure invite them to return and wish them a fond farewell.
• Knowledge of daily function sheet in-house VIPs current activities hours of operation throughout the hotel etc.

• One year of experience in a similar position preferred.
• Fine dining or steak house experience preferred.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to multitask in a high-volume setting.
• Maintain a professional business appearance attitude and performance.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
• Move bend lift carry push pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
• Requires repetitive motion.
• May work both indoors and outdoors.
