Position Summary

A rapidly growing company in the hospitality sector is seeking a Director of Information Technology (Director of IT) to lead its IT strategy operations and business systems integration. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader who thrives in a fast-paced agile environment and can balance strategic vision with day-to-day operational execution.

The Director of IT will report to the VP of Technology and will play a pivotal role in aligning technology with business goals overseeing IT infrastructure and AV systems managing vendor relationships and driving integration across multiple business units in North America.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership
- Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with company growth and innovation goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on emerging technologies balancing practicality with innovation.
- Manage IT budgets ensuring cost-effectiveness and measurable ROI.
Systems & Integration
- Lead consolidation and integration of business systems (POS inventory finance SaaS platforms).
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to identify and deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Oversee data platforms reporting dashboards and analytics to enable data-driven decisions.
Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee IT operations networking cloud-hosted infrastructure AV/AVoIP systems and user support.
- Ensure seamless onboarding provisioning and support processes for distributed teams.
- Implement IT governance security policies disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Vendor & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a small IT/AV team across the US and UK providing guidance and prioritization.
- Manage MSPs SaaS providers POS vendors and AV/IT contractors to ensure delivery and performance.
- Negotiate contracts monitor KPIs and ensure vendor accountability.

Candidate Profile

Experience

10 years in IT with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven success integrating business systems and leading IT/AV operations in multi-site organizations.
Strong vendor management experience including MSPs SaaS POS and AV/IT providers.
Background in small-to-mid-sized fast-growth companies preferred.
Hospitality or entertainment industry experience a plus but not required.

Technical Expertise

Business systems integration (POS inventory ERP SaaS platforms).
IT security risk management and compliance.
AVoIP and unified communications systems.
Cloud infrastructure and SaaS integration.
Data warehouse reporting and SQL knowledge.
