What Will You Do Ka aha koe
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing managing and monitoring roading contracts and ensuring contract performance meets expectations.
- Managing the development of the annual and monthly works programmes for maintenance and capital projects.
- Providing technical expertise and supporting decision-making with cost-effective solutions.
- Ensuring up-to-date asset data management to support long-term planning.
- Leading emergency responses to weather-related events and ensuring road safety.
- Preparing budgets reports and ensuring procurement meets compliance standards.
- Promoting a zero-harm safety culture and strong environmental practices.
Who Are You Ko wai koe
We are looking for someone with:
Essential:
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years roading network management experience.
- Proven experience managing civil construction contracts and risk.
- Skilled in systems like TIO Transport Insights RAMM and Excel.
- Excellent communication and customer service focus.
- Strong time management and planning capabilities.
Desirable:
- Experience in Local Government or RCA environments.
- Knowledge of NZTA policies.
- Project management credentials.
