What Will You Do Ka aha koe
Key responsibilities will include:

• Developing managing and monitoring roading contracts and ensuring contract performance meets expectations.
• Managing the development of the annual and monthly works programmes for maintenance and capital projects.
• Providing technical expertise and supporting decision-making with cost-effective solutions.
• Ensuring up-to-date asset data management to support long-term planning.
• Leading emergency responses to weather-related events and ensuring road safety.
• Preparing budgets reports and ensuring procurement meets compliance standards.
• Promoting a zero-harm safety culture and strong environmental practices.

Who Are You Ko wai koe
We are looking for someone with:

Essential:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years roading network management experience.
• Proven experience managing civil construction contracts and risk.
• Skilled in systems like TIO Transport Insights RAMM and Excel.
• Excellent communication and customer service focus.
• Strong time management and planning capabilities.
  
  

Desirable:

• Experience in Local Government or RCA environments.
• Knowledge of NZTA policies.
• Project management credentials.
