Salary: Starting Salary is Grade F 32597 (Level one) rising to 35412 at point 4 per annum (pro-rata for part-time)
Location:Primarily based at Communities Courtyard in Wollaton but operates across Museum service sites Wollaton Hall Newstead Abbey Nottingham Castle and others
The post is classed as hybrid but within Service guidelines for on site presence. Regular attendance at sites is mandatory within the guidance for the Museums & Galleries Service.

About the Role
We are seeking a creative and experienced professional with a strong track record in developing and delivering engaging learning programmes across diverse subjects and locations.
As Learning Officer you will report to the Audience Engagement Officer and work closely with museum staff and freelancers to design develop and deliver an outstanding learning offer across our sites exhibitions collections and subject areas.
The Learning Officer is responsible for the day-to-day coordination and administration of a wide range of learning opportunities including facilitated onsite sessions educational events and our artefact loans service Access Artefacts.
This role plays a vital part in advancing Nottingham City Museums goals around widening participation audience development and schools engagement. As a member of a small but active team you will lead on aspects of the history curriculum offer for the learning programme and support other members of the team and colleagues for delivery across sites.

The role requires you to participate in a weekend duty management support capacity as part of a service rota.
This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.
