Purpose of the Role
Under direct supervision the Contract Analyst supports the Global Sales team by assisting in the development preparation and management of contracts for assigned customers. This role plays a key part in ensuring contract accuracy compliance and timely delivery contributing to the overall success of customer projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to determine appropriate contract terms and conditions under guidance.
- Assist in drafting reviewing and preparing customer contracts.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for small-scale customer projects.
- Provide administrative and operational support for small to mid-sized customers and projects.
- Support the preparation review finalization and distribution of budgets and contracts.
- Maintain and update contract databases and documentation.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Basic understanding of the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with costing models.
- Ability to interpret and assist in preparing budgets.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external customers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Business Management or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring clear speech perception.
- Extensive use of keyboard and computer systems involving repetitive finger motion.
- Ability to sit for extended periods during work hours.
