Your Mission

• Respect and enforce the safety-related internal guidelines regulations and legal requirements when carrying-out the safety critical tasks and follow the safety-related trainings and the certification path linked to the function;
• Maximize our fleet availability at an acceptable cost level by defining the maintenance and repair solution within the context provided by the Asset Maintenance Department
• Make sure that wagons that are not fit for use are not used in traffic.
• Balance the order volume to agreed levels for workshops taking into account total cost of repair;
• Guarantee the good working and the operational flows related to the release to service and return to operations which are 2 crucial steps in the maintenance function ECM 3 as defined in the EU Regulation related to the Entity in Charge of Maintenance.

Your Tasks

• You act as first point of contact for internal colleagues and external parties (workshops stations customers & wagon keepers) with respect to our wagon fleet in Belgium and abroad ensure clear communication and escalate in case of problems;
• You operationally manage and follow-up freight wagons for preventive & corrective maintenance activities while taking into account the timely correct and efficient execution of the activities and with a focus on maximum operational availability of the wagon fleet;
• You assure the administration of maintenance activities in specific IT tools (Echo CIS SCCTT etc.) according to existing processes and work instructions (ECM Function 3)
• You assure the timely execution and follow-up of specific assignments at the request of other Service Management and other Lineas colleagues as well as support in answering their questions regarding our wagon fleet.
• You guarantee team permanence together with the rest of the Operational Fleet Management team between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.;
• You act as practical expert and process owner of the own operational processes with respect to the use and the maintenance activities for wagons;

Profile

• You have experience within operational customer service and/or planning service
• You have proven experience in managing stakeholders with strong communication skills both in writing and oral
• Knowledge of the Lineas production and traffics or wagon(pools) is a plus.
• Experience within the railway sector or Maintenance Management is a plus
• Youre fluent in Dutch and French with a good knowledge of English. German is a plus
• You have a bachelors degree or equivalent by experience.
