As our Chef Manager youll oversee all kitchen operations from resident meals to vibrant café offerings events such as cultural or fine dining evenings all while leading a passionate culinary team. Your role will extend beyond culinary expertise and include the supervision of effective kitchen team management and general operations set out below
Your day-to-day will include:
- Preparing and cooking delicious set meals for residents who cant make it to the café
- Creating enticing café menus and cabinet food that appeals to a wide audience
- Managing food preparation for special events and celebrations
- Ensuring full compliance with our Food Control plan and Health & Safety standards
- Managing supplier relationships and excelling in budget and roster management

Qualifications :
Youll be a qualified experienced Chef Manager with a passion for food and people. You thrive in a busy kitchen lead by example and love bringing people together through great food.
Youll also bring:
- Certificate III in commercial cookery or equivalent trade qualification as well as Level 2 qualified food safety supervisor
- Proven substantial experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef in a commercial environment aged care highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of diverse and modified dietary requirements including various cuisine and cooking techniques
- Solid leadership experience including budget management experience
- A love for mentoring and supporting others in the kitchen
