Job Description

Teachers will engage preschool age children in afternoon activities such as snacks gym play and outdoor play.

Responsibilities:

-Help to establish a faith-filled positive structured and creative preschool classroom.

-Follow state licensing guidelines including maintaining an accurate student count and keeping all children within sight and sound.

-Arrive to school on time and be ready to receive students at the designated place and time.

-Coach the children in their play/interactions throughout the day rather than supervising and then intervening.

- Aftercare Teachers will assist the Lead Teacher

-Maintain awareness of allergies within the classroom.

-Keep every child within sight and sound.

-Clean tables before and after the children eat.

-Ensure that chemicals are always locked up or in hand.

-Bring a playground bag outside with you with necessary materials tissues wipes band aids etc.

-File students work and assist in sending work and rest-time materials (if applicable) home.

-Attend preschool/school staff meetings as required.

-If you work outside of your contracted hours prior approval is needed.

-Additional responsibilities as determined by the principal or director.

Full Time or Part Time:Part-Time 10-25hrs. a week (depending on what the candidate desires between the hours of 12:30 and 5:30).
