Job Summary
Join our team as a Security Officer in Florence United States! Were looking for vigilant and responsible individuals to ensure the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. As a valued member of our security team youll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors alike.
- Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors windows and gates
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Write comprehensive reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Operate and monitor surveillance equipment
- Perform access control and conduct security screening when required
- Escort or drive motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations or to provide personal protection
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as necessary
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification a plus
- Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and monitoring security systems
- Thorough knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass a background check
