Job Summary

The key to this is they need Hashicorp Vault Enterprise Edition experience. Candidate must have exp in administration of Hashicorp Vault instead of working as an end user for storing the secrets.

Potion- Security Engineer
Location- Culpeper VA 22701 3 Days Hybrid

Key Responsibilities
- Deploy configure and maintain Vault clusters.
- Troubleshoot and monitor Vault performance and security.
- Implement hardening best practices and integrate Vault with enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain Terraform modules for secure infrastructure provisioning.
- Troubleshoot monitor and harden RHEL environments.
- Develop and enforce SELinux policies.
- Design and implement Ansible roles and playbooks.
- Manage automation workflows using ansible.
- Onboard end users and assist with their needs
- Join on-call rotation
- On-site presence for at least 2 days a week (Hybrid mode)

Required Skills (Must-Have)
- HashiCorp Vault Enterprise administration (deployment in HA troubleshooting monitoring hardening integrations).
- Terraform hands-on experience (module development).
- Red Hat Linux experience (troubleshooting monitoring hardening).
- Ansible experience (developing roles playbooks AWX or Ansible Tower).

Preferred Skills (Differential)
- Go development (especially for Vault plugin development).
- Jenkins (pipeline development and automation).
- Splunk (query creation dashboards and alerting).
- ELK Stack (integration queries alerts dashboards).
- SELinux (policy development and troubleshooting).

Certifications (Nice to Have)
HashiCorp Certified: Vault Associate
Hashicorp Vault Operations Progressional
Terraform Associate Certification
