Team Carney a dynamic performance and professional development focused company is actively seeking a Senior level Instructional Systems Designer to support the Training Division of a land management related government agency. The ideal candidate will have experience implementing the ADDIE model and Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in thedevelopment of curriculum to include learning objectives instructional strategies structure and sequence instructional trainingmaterial evaluations and evaluation reports multimedia and e-learning courses. This position is contingent on award.
THIS POSITION IS FULL TIME ONSITE IN BOISE IDAHO.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A BACKGROUND CHECK FOR EMPLOYMENTResponsibilities:
- Conduct task and learner analysesand training needs assessments
- Develop measurable learning objectives aligned with performance outcomes
- Design instructional strategies content maps storyboards and assessment blueprints
- Develop instructor-led e-learning and hybrid training materials
- Support training delivery via LMS platforms and facilitate train-the-trainer sessions
- Evaluate training effectiveness using Kirkpatrick Levels 1 and 2 and recommend improvements
- Deliver training needs analysis reports
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a related field required.
- A minimum of 10 years of Experience in Instructional System Design preferred to include at a minimum the following:
Experience developing learning experiences that support employee development.
Experience with a focus on performance and doing of a task rather than knowledge.
Less lecture-based training and more experiential for the learner.
Knowledge content is used to set the baseline but application is the standard for training.
Experience and understanding in Kirkpatrick Training Evaluation (Level 1-4).
Preferred Requirements:
- Direct experience working collaboratively with client organization and staff. Military/DOD or Wildland Fire experience is preferred.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carneys total compensation package for employees. Posted Salary Range: USD $85000 - USD $105000 /Yr
