We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our dynamic and multicultural Global Business Services this role you will focus on developing and maintaining our HR data infrastructure while also providing support for our current analytics initiatives using Power BI. You will collaborate closely with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to ensure that stakeholders have access to high-quality data for informed decision-making.
Your contribution to something big:
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines in SQL and Python for our HR data lake;
- Contribute to building stable data models (e.g. Star Schemas) that power analytics and reporting;
- Assist in processing large datasets using Data Bricks and other modern tools;
- Help ensure data quality and consistency through governance best practices;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions;
- Work with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to deliver insights via Power BI dashboards and reports;
- Be part of a team driving digital transformation in HR through data.
Qualifications :
What distinguishes you:
- Education:
- Degree in Computer Science Data Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience:
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Python in a data engineering context;
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipeline tools;
- Experience with Power BI and Data Bricks is a plus or a willingness to learn.
- Knowledge:
- Understanding of data modeling and governance principles;
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and usability.
- Languages:
- Fluent in English (C1 level) with German as an asset;
- Personality:
- Collaborative and structured approach to problem-solving.
- Curious proactive and eager to grow.
- Able to communicate clearly and work well across functions.
