We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Material Planner to join our Supply Chain team. This role is key to ensuring the timely availability of materials maintaining optimal inventory levels and coordinating seamlessly between suppliers production and logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills proven MRP/ERP experience and the ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your Mission:
- Material Planning (MRP): Develop update and execute material plans aligned with production schedules and demand forecasts.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels apply safety stock strategies and prevent shortages or excess.
- Supplier Coordination: Follow up on purchase orders expedite deliveries and solve supply disruptions.
- Data Accuracy: Maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and master data in ERP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
- Reporting & KPIs: Prepare reports on OTIF inventory turns and forecast accuracy to support decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Procurement Production Quality and Logistics to ensure smooth material flow.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks including delays and quality issues.
- Analyze and plan material requirements by determining the quantity and date materials are needed to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Develop and implement supply chain material management and logistics plans that may affect the production distribution and inventory of finished products in order to enhance product flow.
- Coordinate supply chain material management and logistics activities with internal/external customers.
- Prepare forecasts and analyze trends in manufacturing sales distribution general business conditions and other related areas.
- Participate or lead process effectiveness and continuous improvement projects.
Qualifications :
What we expect from you! - Your Expertise:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Industrial Engineering Business Administration or related field.
- Experience: 3.4 years in material planning inventory management or similar supply chain roles in manufacturing.
- Systems: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Oracle Fusion preferred).
- Advanced English for supplier and cross-functional communication.
- Excellent english communication hability (written and oral).
- Strong analytical mathematical organizational verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.
- Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements. -Ability to conduct research prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion
