Job Summary

The Supply Network Planner is the main link between Sub/Hub Demand Planners and Production Planners at Colgate-Palmolive sites and Contract Manufacturers. This role translates the demand plan into inventory and replenishment requirements across the supply network with a focus on the Caribbean market.
The planner ensures product availability from sourcing locations in Guatemala and Mexico to Caribbean sourcers and manages direct shipments to the Caribbean balancing customer service inventory and cost while driving process and system improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily/weekly/monthly planning cycles to ensure product availability at DCs and for Caribbean sourcers.
  • Translate the demand plan into an optimized supply and replenishment plan across the network to achieve customer-focused KPIs.
  • Use system alerts and planning tools (SAP/APO/PPDS/IBP DOMO Excel) to identify and resolve supply shortages overstocks and service risks.
  • Manage end-to-end replenishment flows and direct shipments from Guatemala and Mexico to the Caribbean optimizing inventory levels.
  • Use supply chain data and analytics to support fact-based decisions and recommendations.
  • Apply best practices in SAP APO and related tools understanding constraints such as product release manufacturing capacity distribution and customer requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives identifying and implementing process improvements in a predominantly manual planning environment.
  • Adapt to changes in systems and processes (e.g. Kinaxis or other planning platforms) learning quickly and proposing better ways of working.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning Production Planning Transportation Warehouse Operations Customer Service and external partners to close gaps and achieve CS&L service and cost goals/KPIs.
  • Participate in cross-functional forums presenting supply situations risks and action plans clearly and effectively.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration Industrial Engineering Logistics or related field.
  • Experience: 12 years in supply planning inventory management or a similar supply chain role.
  • Language: Advanced English (oral and written) with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Technical skills:
    • Strong experience withSAP/APO/PPDS/IBP.
    • Proficiency withDOMO(or similar BI tool) andadvanced Excel.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supportingCaribbean marketsor multi-country hubs.
  • Knowledge or certification inLean/Six Sigmaor other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience improving manual/semi-manual planning processes and/or supporting planning system transitions (e.g. Kinaxis).
  • Proven ability to share best practices improve Supply Chain processes and use SAP APO functionalities effectively.
  • High learning agility openness to change and a proactive mindset to drive process and performance improvements.
  • Core competencies:
    • Understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain (manufacturing product release distribution and customer requirements).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Team-oriented with effective communication and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced changing and partly manual environment managing multiple priorities.
