Job Summary:
The Supply Planner is responsible for developing and executing supply plans that support manufacturing operations and customer delivery for the Access Networks Solutions products. The role of the Supply Planner ensures customer commitments are met on time all while balancing demand capacity materials and inventory. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with Demand Planning Manufacturing Operations Procurement Logistics and Backlog Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage finished good supply plans aligned with demand forecasts production capacity and business objectives.
- Develop and drive S&OE process
- Create and Maintain production orders communicating to the factory what to execute to meet the plan.
- Monitor inventory levels across distribution centers recommending actions to avoid shortages or excess.
- Collaborate with procurement and manufacturing to ensure component availability for production and on time delivery of finished goods
- Use SAP IBP and ERP Tools to manage planning cycles analyze data and provide supply insights during S&OP reviews
- Drive alignment between supply demand and financial plans identifying risks constraints and opportunities
- Track and resolve supply disruptions production delays or logistics bottlenecks impacting customer orders
- Maintain master data accuracy (lead times Lots sizes safety stocks and planning parameters) in SAP
- Partner with logistics teams to ensure efficient distribution and timely order fulfillment to customers
- Recommend process improvements to reduce lead times optimize inventory and enhance supply chain
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Operations or related field or equivalent experience.
- 35 years of supply planning or production planning experience ideally in the telecommunications or electronics industry.
- Bilingual
- Proficient in SAP (S/4HANA) and SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) for supply planning forecasting and inventory management or other advanced planning systems.
- Strong knowledge of S&OP processes inventory optimization and capacity planning.
- Experience in low-mix high-volume and high-mix low-volume manufacturing environments with tight delivery schedules and demand variability.
- Strong understanding of S&OP MRP principles and planning in global supply chains.
- Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills; ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced global environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment with competing priorities.
- Proficient in Excel PowerPoint Power BI and other analytical tools.
