Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers QA analysts and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Perform functional regression and integration testing.
- Analyze test results identify defects and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Maintain test environments and ensure test data integrity.
Required Skills:
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
- Experience with test frameworks like PyTest unittest or similar.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration with tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
- Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST-assured.
- Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Behave or Cucumber.
- Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g. BrowserStack Sauce Labs).
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
