Schedule:

Monday Tuesday Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 2:30 PM

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Medical Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in Huntington IN.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients and take vital signs
Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture procedures
Administer EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Assist with front and back-office duties including scheduling appointments
Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Support patient education and promote wellness initiatives
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship)
Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred
Experience in Occupational Health preferred
Proficiency in phlebotomy/venipuncture and working with EMR systems
BLS or CPR certification required
Strong attention to detail communication skills and professionalism

Required Skills:

Front and back-office clinical support
Phlebotomy and specimen collection
EKG performance and interpretation basics
POC testing proficiency
Patient scheduling and coordination
Excellent patient interaction and communication
Strong computer literacy and multitasking ability
