JOB SUMMARY:As a Customer Service Representative for Action Resources you will work with our Customer Service team to provide outstanding administrative and customer service support to both internal and external customers. You will assist with responsibilities including but not limited to: data entry weekly reporting order processing report generation billing and load management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Collaborate and support Sales and Operations teams to coordinate enter and track a variety of loads tendered daily to our company from our customers.
- Receive accept and data-enter inbound customer loads as tendered in the Transportation Management System.
- Effectively communicate load tender details to operations team.
- Ensure that all paperwork and load data is entered and uploaded accurately and completed in a timely manner.
- Manage customers web-based portals to ensure shipment data and status is up to date.
- Interact with internal and external customers in a collaborative manner continually exceeding expectations.
- Complete various reports as requested.
- Solicit additional freight opportunities from our customers.
- Ensure data is accurately maintained entered into Masterfile.
- Identify areas for continuous improvement in process and procedures.
- Support and adhere to all company quality and safety improvement efforts.
- Ability to effectively escalate time sensitive issues as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
