Provides leadership and oversight to the Assembly / Fabricator group. Operates manufacturing equipment within a production facility. Installs mounts fastens aligns and adjusts parts components wiring and infrastructure components. May also perform electrical and mechanical assembly of various components to be assembled into a final product. Ensures units are developed and integrated according to assembly and customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day guidance to assembly / fabricator teams and supervisors for an assigned production facility.
- Communicates with manufacturing colleagues product engineers and vendors to ensure escalation of any and all issues pertaining to safety quality and production.
- Regularly trains coaches and mentors less experienced team members.
- Oversees overall production and build processes and flow of work for team.
- Alerts more senior leadership to areas of concern with regard to staffing levels customer demand budget and safety when unable to resolve these items personally.
- Adapts plans and resources to meet shifting business requirements or timelines.
- Ensures team adherence to documented procedures and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Typically has 6-8 years of experience in Assembly and/or Fabricator and typically 0-2 years leadership experience.
- Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
