Claris Health is seeking a mission-drivenDonor Relations Officer who can build deep lasting relationships with donors and lead transformative fundraising this pivotal executive role you wont just be securing fundsyoull be designing the future of donor engagement for a cause centered on life family and hope in Los Angeles.

Overview:
The Donor Relations Officer builds and strengthens relationships with individuals families andorganizations whose generosity fuels our mission. This role is responsible for cultivatingsoliciting and stewarding donors ensuring they feel connected informed and inspired by theimpact of their giving. By serving as a trusted partner and storyteller the Donor Relations Officerhelps donors align their passions with strategic funding opportunities while advancing theorganizations long-term sustainability and vision.

Primary Responsibilities:
Donor Stewardship & Communication
Develop and implement stewardship plans for donors to ensure ongoing engagementand retention.
Work with the Development Manager to prepare personalized thank-you letters donoracknowledgments and impact reports in collaboration with the marketing team.
Coordinate donor recognition activities including special mailings holiday greetingsmilestone acknowledgments (e.g. birthdays anniversaries) and handwritten notes.
Make follow-up and thank-you calls to donors ensuring timely and authentic gratitude.
Help organize and host donor events individual meetings virtual updates and in-persontours.

Relationship Management & Engagement
Cultivate new and existing donor relationships by assisting with introductions follow-upand meeting coordination.
Collaborate with leadership and the development team to identify opportunities fordeeper donor involvement (e.g. events volunteering campaign giving).
Develop and execute donor segmentation strategies for tailored communication basedon giving history interests and engagement level.

Database & Reporting
Work with the Development Manager to maintain accurate and updated donor records inthe CRM ensuring gift entry activity tracking and contact information are current.
Generate reports and mailing lists for stewardship segmentation and targetedcampaigns.
Track donor engagement metrics to inform future strategies and measure success.

Events & Campaign Support

Plan and execute donor-focused events (virtual and in-person) such as appreciationgatherings or campaign receptions.
Support capital campaign efforts through relationship management donor updates andinvolvement in committee coordination when needed.

Qualifications:
Passion for the mission vision and values of Claris Health.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit development communicationsor related field.
24 years of experience in donor relations fundraising or nonprofit development.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency with donor databases (e.g. Salesforce Bloomerang) and CRM systems is aplus.
Experience managing donor pipelines and personalized stewardship strategies.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to theteam.
Communicate proactively with the development team and leadership on progress andpriorities.

Pay Transparency Statement
The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Claris Healths pay ranges vary based on work location. As part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus as well as annual refresh stock grants.
