Focus of the Role
An excellent opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and passionate IT Technical Expert for Windows Citrix and VMware technologies in the Telstra Defence Operations Data Centre Operations Team. This roles focus will be on the Defence Terrestrial Communications Production Network (DTCN). You will have the opportunity to help build and integrate new products into the DTCN environment.

What Youll Do
We are looking for a Technical Expert to support the operations and maintenance of the Telstra Defence Terrestrial Communications Network (DTCN). Specifically the Datacentre based compute operating system network and management application stacks.
This role can be based in Canberra Melbourne Brisbane or Sydney Australia. This is an office-based role with scheduled RDOs available.
The Data Centre Operations Team support both the production and pre-production environments for the Defence Terrestrial Communications this role your primary focus would be on the operations of the production environment. However you will also get the opportunity to work on the Defence Canberra Integration Laboratory (pre-production and integration) to prepare solutions for deployment into production.
In this role your focus will be on Unix Administration. You will also get the opportunity to work on a varied number of technologies:

About You
Please note all candidates must be Australian Citizens and hold a minimum of NV1 AGSVA security clearance to be considered. This role will require you to gain or hold and maintain an Negative Vetting 2 (NV2) security clearance.
